Samsung 2160 laser printer paper & toner

The manual with this printer says "do not use ink jet paper" and "use only Samsung toner"

We have both ink-jet and laser printers and keeping two lots of paper would be tiresome. We have used Cartridge World re-filled ink catridges and would want to continue with this supplier.

Are the warnings from Samsung just a sales pitch or are they real?

Don't use inkjet photo paper or transparencies, etc but ordinary paper is usually multi-use and should state on the packet what it can be used for. The problem lies with the heat the laser printer generates which could cause the paper to stick to the drum amongst other things.

I use Samsung's toner rather than compatible toner and use their recycling ones with free return. I've just had a look at the Cartridge World UK site and they don't appear to supply toner for the ML-2160.
