samsung 205wb no dvi input?

Took posession of shiny new monitor yesterday, but disappointed to find I could only get it to work via the VGA sockets / lead. It also works if I use the VGA lead with an adapter on the dvi connector on the graphics card, so the card's outputs both function. I have tested the supplied dvi lead on my Dell equipment at work, and that's apparently OK. So it must be that the monitor is in some way set to vga by default, and I have no idea how to change it to digital. Either that or the dvi socket on the monitor is duff.

Any help appreciated

Think I may have sorted it out myself! Last night I let the drivers install automatically from the cd supplied with the monitor. Today I downloaded just the driver files from the Samsung site, and installed them manually on my work laptop. There was an analog driver and a second, dvi driver which needed installing separately. As soon as flexitime allows, I'm off home to try the same on the pc at home. Digits crossed!
