USB Flash Disc Drive
Have Serif Pochi Drive, plugged into USB, with installation disc. The CD appears to work ok,and installs a drive (Jupiter). On completion it has not installed the icon in My Computer, so it cannot be used.I have Windows 98, no version being stated, and I assume a basic USB.It appears that there is an incompatibility with the USB driver.I do not have a Windows 98 cd,only an IBM Recovery disc ,which warns that if used there is a danger of formatting the hard disc.Is there a download of a USB driver that is compatible with this Flash Drive?

Sammey included this in another thread.

Win98 was invented before USB so is a NO No for USB devices unless it is Win98SE which is the revised version to take onboard USB.

Even here each device must load its own driver.

Sorry about that inadvertantly hit the return key halfway through typing.

Windows 95 actually had a limited USB support which was greatly enhanced first in 98 then again in 98SE. click here
