i have a problem with internet explorer the home page has been taken over by safety defender it's apparently a trojan zblob ( i think thats what its called) ive tried running avast anti virus spy sweeper ad aware and ewido. I've ran spy sweeper and ad aware in safe mode but it's still with me. Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of it.

click here if this doesn't help then consider creating a hijack this log but do not post it here as they are too complicated, you will get a better answer on a dedicated site such as the one linked to above.

have you tried disabling system restore and then scanning? assuming you have xp which is not clear.

I have found this online scan very good at getting rid of difficult trojans.
