SafeBoot in MSCONFIG,why you should not use it !

******** Booting into Safe Mode safely ********

Recently ive seen a few posts regarding safebooting from MSCONFIG,this should NOT be carried out in this way....for the simple reason you are altering your Boot.ini file to make it boot ONLY in Safe Mode.

Ive seen posts relating to Superantispyware and its safeboot feature,again this has its risks.

You are mixing skidzy's advice. There is nothing wrong with Safe Mode if you get into it using F5 or F8. What he and the web page is saying is do not use MSCONFIG to boot to safe mode. But Safe Mode is just that, its a way of being able to get to the desktop so you can do some servicing, to get it to boot normal

Yep thats what I get now, It shows Web address but stops as if fully loaded at a blank page.
