Have just got my daughter a Linux based Dell laptop and was wondering if there are any "net nanny" type programmes avaialable for download?

OpenDNS has the advantage of been independent of the computer so you won't need to fiddle under the bonnet of a new Linux machine.

I use OpenDNS without a problem and if you set the system up on an existing Windows computer you can simple use this account on a Linux machine.
