Safe surfing software for home network

  NFB 16:03 23 Oct 06

I have a home network of three computers using a wireless broadband router. Two computers are attached by ethernet and one uses the wireless facility.

Apart from having software loaded on every machine, is it possible to control internet surfing at the router level, please?

I don't think so but have you set up the security features of your router (preferably WPA)? what is the make and model of the router?

Yes, the security feature is set up (WEP). The router is a D-Link DSL-G604T. Thanks.

That router will support WPA that is much more secure than WEP

Thanks, I'll switch to WPA. The link is very useful but doesn't give any info on safe surfing software.
