safe mode

i have a little fujitsu notebook, works ok but every time it has to reboot eg. when a new driver or sonething or if you click restart, it goes into safe mode first, nothing in the bios like sone has halt or not on errors, this has nothing. any ideas how to stop this

Hi hgrock. You don't say what version of Windows you have, but 2 suggestions you might try. In Device Manager make sure you don't have any devices duplicated (this can happen when you update drivers), and if you have msconfig available (Start - Run and type in msconfig), click on the Advanced button and make sure there isn't a tick in the box for "Enable Startup Menu".
