S-Video,Laptop,DVD Recorder etc...

Hi Chaps, now - I've got an S-Video cable that I purchased about 2 years ago, to enable me to watch movies from my laptop onto my TV. This is my query. I have a Panasonic DVD Recorder(stand alone,not on PC, lives next to the telly..)and want to know whether it's possible to record movies FROM the laptop onto DVD-R discs in the DVD Recorder. Summit strange though, the connections on either end of this s-vid cable are like ariel plugs - and the s-vid socket on my laptop is one of those small, I think 5 or 7 pin... I can't remember how the HELL I connected the laptop to tv with the s-vid cable!!!!!

You probably had a scart adapter that the
s-video lead plugged into. click here

Note that when using a S-Video lead that this contains just the video. You need to connect the sound using the red and white RCA phono sockets.
