Runtime Error - Internet Explorer

  Maczed 16:10 03 May 06

My wife and I share my desktop computer. She can access the internet with no problem, but when I try I get the message:

Runtime Error.
c\program files\internet explorer\iexplorer.exe.
The application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application support team for more information.

This problem has only arisen within the last week, but I can't think why. I can send and receive e-mails OK.
Has anyone any idea how to resolve the problem?
Thanks for looking.

Do you have the Google toolbar installed? If you do, try removing it, I think I read somewhere there is a problem with it.

It is Google Desktop Search that can cause problems.

Many thanks to those who responded. Removing the Google toolbar, as suggested, worked a treat.
