Runtime Error

  Madronwell 23:28 23 Dec 03

I have recently started to receive the following error message whenever I browse on certain webpages that I have stored in my favourites. It doesn't do it for all of the sites in my favourites, only certain ones.

A runtime error has occurred.
Do you wish to debug?

Line: 1 Error: Syntax Error

I use AOL and as they use their own browser, does this mean I have a problem with it? If so, would uninstalling and reinstalling sort the problem out?

Many thanks for your help, and Merry Christmas!

In Internet Explorer, Tools/Inrernet Options, Advanced tab

Tick "Disable script debugging"

UNtick "Display a notification about every script error".

This is very sad - I've now memorised this.

I mean sad on my part, Madronwell, not yours.

No worries VoG!!
I have just done what you have advised and it seems to have done the trick!
Cheers for that!
