rundll32 and samsung printer causing problems

Hi all,

I have got a computer on windows 98se
i have a samsung ml-1200 printer attached via the parallel port.
when i try to print to it it comes up with an illegal operation with rundll32 in the blue toolbar.

anyone any ideas?

i will look at the post in the morning as i finish work in a minute

Hi Mark. Apparently rundll32.exe is a program that calls a dll file and the problem is almost certainly in the dll file being called. Unfortunately Windows 98 doesn't give any clue as to what file is being called by rundll32.exe when the problem occurs, so debugging is mostly a matter of trial and error. The best thing I can suggest is that you uninstall the printer driver, then download and install the latest driver to see if that helps.
