I have window xp running on my Pc and my video game only run on 98.
How can I install and run 98se on the same drive?
Will i then be able to play my old games?

Format the drive, then create two partitons.

Install Windows 98 to the first partiton and then XP to the second. XP will make changes so you can select which operating system you wish to use.

You will be able to play your old games but under windows 98.

Personally I prefer Powerless' method. It does mean you have to make 2 installations (and re-configure XP), but all told, it may be the simplest. Remember to use FAT32 for the XP partition if you want to read the XP partition when you are using 98.

If (and only if) your XP is on a FAT32 partition, you can leave your XP alone and install 98 to a second partition.

After that, you can only boot to 98. You will need to do a partial reinstallation of XP to create a dual boot and then edit boot.ini.

Whatever you do, back up your data and settings first from XP.
