Run-time error 429, Activex can't create object.

Just got a new CD called PC Health Check from the "computer shop". I installs, then gives me this error code, saying Run-time error 429, Activex can't create object. When I click on ok, is dissapears and will not run. I use XP home, and have been informed by software that I have critical errors which must be sorted. When trying to scan, this goes fine, on downloaded software, but I have to purchase it before it will clean up for me. This disc should do it as it was not free! can anyone help?

Sounds like a waste of time, there are plenty of free system and registry checkers/cleaners around.
CCleaner is very useful click here
Click Issues for registry fixes.
RegSupreme for a more intensive cleanup click here
