Run time error 28

When starting up my PC this morning I got the following message "Run time error 28! Out of stack space" any idea what this means and if it is significant?

If you aren't sure how to do this, go to start, then run, then msconfig and take a look in the "Startup" tab.

A search on google (for: "Runtime error 28" stack) revealed the following for example happening to people running spyware blaster:

I suspect it is 3rd party software related rather than the MS operating system, just a hunch, and also suspect it is something at startup if that is in fact when you get the message?
