Hello there..

I hope someone can help me with this probably simple problem. When I run a dos command from the run command (ie ipconfig). The command windows flashes up and then shuts straight back down without giving me a chance to read the contents.

Is there a way to stop the window shutting down or at least delaying the shut down to give me time to read it???

Thanks

In the Run box type

cmd

and click OK. Then type the command at the > prompt and press the Enter key.

Thanks for that VoG but I didn't explain the full story..

I want an Access database to call the run command and then ping various computers.. I have the database working fine but am not given enough time to read all the info on the cmd screen.

thanks

Try making a batch file with a PAUSE command at the end if it. Then it just may pause with the DOS window still open.

Use the following Run command

cmd /k ipconfig
