Ma be having pc formatted & reinstallation of windows xp.
I will disconect my siemens wireless router via yellow ethernet cable. Will my router settings be lost?

When i get pc back, i assume on my desktop i'll just have IE, my documents, My computer & what else?.
Is there anything other than personal stuff that i need to back up?

Cheers

gaz

Your router will not loose it's settings but you will need to reconnect it to your machine.
As long as you have backed up all your personal data including emails and contacts etc, XP will have all you need to get you started. You will need to reinstall all your applications.
