Hi

Can anyone please help me. i have a D-link router (with no built in modem) from the USA and have just switched to Homechoice from BT and Homechoice will not help me configure the router!! I have no idea how to set-up the router and need some help. Homechoice inform me that they use a Dynamic IP Address and DHCP. With BT it was stright forward, PPPoE followed with a username and password.
Can anyone help me with this...

Thanks

CAn u access the router via the web browsing set-up?

You need to plug it all in and congure the network to look for 192.168.0.1 or similar..

If so you should then be able to input your username and password, and set up the other options in there...

What OS do you use?

Thanks

i am using Windows 2000 and I am accessing the router via the we based control. Homechoice informed me that they DO NOT use a username and password...that they are Dynamic IP and DHCP???
With BT it worked as a PPPoE using a username and password...
any ideas
