Router Problems

I currently have a Linksys Modem/Router (Model WAG54G). The modem was working fine for a couple of months and then it suddenly stopped working. It won't connect to the net. The ADSL light on the front of the panel intimitedly flashes and thought it would be something to do with the wiring between the phone line and the modem/router, however I checked this with my USB modem and it works fine. Has anyone any ideas what the problem could be?

Not familiar with this as I use the Linksys wired
BEFSR41 cable router. However I have found Linksys
website support to be very good via email and there is also, it seems, a WAG54G forum which may help. Link from this website
