Router problem

I already have this wireless router but as I bought it off a mate it didn't come with the antenna. I've tried a friend's laptop with it but obviously the signal was *!@:. I'm hoping to get a laptop soon so I'd need a new antenna for it. Would this one fit it? I can't find any antenna that specifically fits the router I have.

This one says 'Compatible with all wireless IEEE 802.11b/g router/AP/PCI/PCMCIA adapters with reverse SMA connectors' And the WLAN standards specs on my router say 'IEEE 802.11g/b' Bit unsure though.

Anyone have a clue?

My understanding is that if the antennae screws off then it is usually a standard fitting.

setecio do you know where I can buy one of these from as I need one ready for when I buy my laptop.

Maplins have a selection of antennas. Pop into a store and ask them.
