  catho 18:16 01 Apr 09

When I view the network on my PC there is a second PC shown named Thomson PC described as a Samba server. Do I have a problem?

Thanks for your help.

The Thompson Samba Server is part of the BT Home Hub so it is no threat to your security

Cheers HC

Forgot to add Thompson is hub manufacturer and samba server is Linux network software which is built into the hub(program which runs inside hub,ie boots the hub into life)samba allows linux and windows to communicate with each other network wise
