Rogue file keeps appearing.

My daughter bought a Brother multi-purpose printer etc., I thought I would download the software onto my PC to show her, and to see for myself how well it worked. I uninstalled the software afterwards but something else keeps reloading 'Brother USB Printing Support' file. I have gone through 'regedit' and removed all the entries but it still keeps reappearing on boot up. Any suggestions where I might look?
I am running W98se.

look in msconfig. Start, Run, msconfig.

There's no mention of it in 'msconfig startup'. P.

the file (i think) is related to drivers, this may help..

I downloaded the file, but in the 'Options' menu it only lists the drivers for my existing Epson and Canon printers.

Maybe not related to drivers then!!
will have to look a bit deeper..

Is the Brother folder still on C Drive? If it is try deleting it or erasing it!

this might help download it from click here
""Use the printer driver information cleanup tool (ptsweep.exe) to remove the printer driver information from your PC.""

I think my link has established it is not driver related but USB, still cannot find any relevant info..
