rjh extensions

  Newuser819 16:46 20 Nov 06

Having used rjh extensions successfully for some time on my old computer I am puzzled why several attempts to download this facility to my new computer have failed to give me any increased options when I right click on a file or folder

Can anyone explain what needs to be done.

Why should downloading to a new computer give additional options?

You get what the software offers, irrespective of the host computer click here

Your antispyware program may be blocking these extensions.

What Antispyware / antivirus do you use?

Try going to Start, All Programs, rjhExtensions and open the rjhExtensions Organizer. Are the boxes ticked?

(The program is compatible with XP Home SP2.)

Sorry, my mistake/assumption.
Works immediately on mine...
If the program has been installed, go to Start menu/run,type

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\rjhext.dll

press return

Thanks for responses

1. I only want what the program is suppose to offer.

2. I use AVG anti virus and AVG anti spyware, as well as ad-aware,spybot,spyware blaster, windows defender, a-squared and spy substract.

3. All boxes are ticked in rjh organiser.

4. when I type the entry for regsvr32 I get the following message in the regsvr 32 window

"load library("C:\windows\system32\rjhext.dll") failed - Invalid access to memory location.
