'Rightfinder' - Getting Rid Of It

A sort of search engine called 'Rightfinder' seems to have infiltrated itself into my Internet Explorer set-up and asserts itself as my home page from time to time even though I have ticked the 'use blank' option. (I use MS XP 'Home').

I thought it would be simply be a matter of getting into the registry to rid myself of this pest, but 'find' in the registry doesn't reveal it, and neither does 'search'.

Can anyone tell me please what to do to cleanse 'Rightfinder' from my system?

Many thanks

Have you tried the two free & reommended on here SpyStuff removers Spybot click here & Ad-Aware click here after installing them you will need to update both to the lastest database.

Thanks The Lights Are On but I do indeed have both running and up-to-date and neither either detects nor shifts 'Rightfinder'.
