Retrieving 'saved' mails off server

  Chris the Ancient 20:39 19 Oct 04

Last week, I raised the question of leaving emails on the main server because my main machine was being fixed and I was having to work off my laptop and I didn't want to 'lose' my mail.

I now have my main machine back and I'm going to rebuild the system over the coming free (free?) time that I have.

So, allowing for, on my main machine...

Win X with SP2

OE as main mail handler

ntl as my main mail host (freeserve is my other)...

Can I pull 'old' messages off the server(s) after I have already read them? If so, how?

If you've read them but not deleted they should still be there provided you have not gone over the mailbox limit. As soon as you've set OE up just download them.

Thanks guys.

I hoped it would be that simple, but after the week I've had (and it's only Tuesday!) I wanted a little touch of reassurance.

If it goes thingies upwards... Then I shall start to panic!
