Resurrecting an old laptop

I?ve fished an old laptop down from the attic (Dell Latitude CP). The battery appears good but the system won?t recognise the hard disk. ?Primary hard disk not found? F2 Setup reveals primary hard disk 0 mb. Is this likely to be a dead hard drive or a configuration problem? Inserting a floppy disk allows me to boot to the a:> prompt, but c: return reports ?invalid drive?.

Fdisk and format should sort it out - see click here
