restoring my G drive?

I have an external hard disk that is normally located at G.
A few days ago though I didn't have it plugged in and I plugged in a little usb memory stick- this stick took the location of G.
I then realised I needed to use my hard disk afterall but since G was took it went to H.

Now my hard disk seems to be stuck at H.
The memory stick is gone but the hard disk always goes for H.
This isn't good. I've quite a few shortcuts pointing to G and the working of many things is based around that.

Is there anyway to change my hard disk back to being G?

if xp right click my computer>manage>disk management>select drive>right click>change drive letter and paths to G

Never noticed that menu before.
Nice and simple, wish everything was so easy.
