Restoring Computer

Hi i currently have Windoes XP Home SP2 and i use Norton Ghost 2003 to restore my computer. But when i restore the C Drive were windows is it wipes all of my data on the C Drive can you make it so it will only restore "WINDOWS" files?

that says you have to back up documents is there any programme that just overwrites windoes files but leaves the rest of the C drive or does that do that...?

That is exactly what it does - replaces the Windows files and nothing else. Backing up files is a precaution in case things go pear shaped. You would be OK in any case if you have a Ghost image.

You don't need a program. Just follow the instructions in the link that I posted - which is from Powerless btw.
