I want to delete old restore points. I would appreciate location of the folder containing them,.... am using XP PRO. Thanks guys / gals.

If you want to delete them all just go to System Restore Settings and turn System restore Off. Reboot and don't forget to turn it back on.
You will lose ALL restore points.

Or quicker still:

Right click on 'My Computer' on your desktop; choose Properties and then System Restore.

It will not let you look at it or Delete it. Folder is System Volume Information

Get 'Explorer XP' and set it to show hidden files; this will show System Volume Information and you can then delete which ever restore points you wish. click here
