Restart deletes audio drivers! Help please?

I have just received some brilliant help from a helper on this wonderful site who pointed towards the relevant drivers i needed to get sound working on my PC.
I installed them and nthe sound worked but everytime i restart the PC the sound doesn't work and i have to install the driver again!
Please can anyone help me?

First of all close the other post, there is a small box on the right hand side towards the bottem.Put a tick in it, which we leave just this one.

After doing a repair install of XP it might be helpful to reinstall the motherboard or chipset drivers. click here

Hi again gengiscant, for some reason the PC now works fine after the restart and i hadn't even reinstalled the drivers you mentioned.
