My boss has a problem with his Internet Explorer address bar - he can only fit about 8 letters in it.

Is there a way of resizing the width of the bar?

O/S Windows ME.

Cheers.

You can move or resize the Address bar and Links bar by dragging them up, down, left, or right. You can even move them into the menu bar!

int the view menu expand the toolbars option then click lock the toolbars if it is ticked to unlock them. then you can simply drag the address bar using the seperator on the left hand side. you can also drag it up or down so that it sits on the toolbar or below it on its own.

Right click the arrow down button on the right of the address bar to make sure that lock the tool bars is not ticked then hold the mouse button to the right of the addy and drag outwards.

That was embarrassingly easy. Still, as Chris Tarrant would say, 'it's only easy if you know the answer'.

Thanks all.
