Resize Floppy Disc from 1.44 to 1.72

  woodchip 14:36 03 Jan 04

Just a one off for a short time, If you still use Floppy disc's the program is....... "Freeware"...... it does not use compression, it can get your floppy's working that do not under normal windows format. It increases the size of the floppy to get more date on the disc it does not need installing it just runs from the .EXE file so put it where you want on your drive and create a shortcut to the file. Anybody that wants a copy it's only a 23kb zip with a readme file and the Program.exe file. just send Via the little Envelope to the left of this thread.

If your happy with it let me know

Is this the same format that Microsoft produced for distributing its software before it all became toooooo big for floppies? I think it was in an effort to stop disk copying.

I can format 1.68M disk in Norton File Manager, but a version that works in later versions of Windows would be useful (Norton File Manager only works in Windows 95).

Does it work with Win-XP?

  woodchip 19:09 03 Jan 04

It cannot hurt to try it as it does not load any files it works in a Dos Mode so it should work with XP. Going to tick it now if anybody wants it E-Mail me
