help! i'm trying to reset my computer to factory setting using rescue disk and 3 master disks, however when the computer asks for disk number one nothing happens. I have tested the master disks and they are ok. Also the cd-rom should auto start any ideas?

I believe you need to go into the bios and set the boot sequence to boot from Cdrom 1st.(see you handbook to do this)
After doing this insert the recovery cd, then switch off and re-start and it should run correctly.

you may need to create a system disk then boot from floppy to give you cd rom support. Then switch to D drive and then type setup to get it going.
