Reset display

A rogue (not copied) game has mucked my dislpay up. so that ,e.g, some displays like taskbar are too small, and others too big. I do not have original disk.
Is there a way of setting it all back to normal?

I've tried going into Control Panel > Display etc, but am only making it worse, as I don't know what original sizes should be, nor fonts!!

Right click desktop, Properties.

You may have tried this, but you want to find the Appearance settings in Display Properties & fiddle with things such as size of Active Title Bar etc.

Have you tried to do a system restore to a time when all was ok? TT

T only have W98 SE, so system restore is out I think,I've tried the Appearance method, but as I say there's no easy way of telling what original sizes, etc were.
