Hi folks! I have just installed kesio firewall and disconnected XP firewall. Is this o.k., or should I run both together?

  Rennaissance 15:54 21 Feb 04

No dont bother, the XP firewall is useless.

OK you got me with this one, what is or where is the "kesio firewall" ?---:)

  Rennaissance 15:57 21 Feb 04

lol, i just assumed it was a unknown firewall that can be bought some place. I use Norton Firewall and Antivirus which is great.

It should be in your program files. Get Norton internet security 2004. Its got a firewall, which is really good.

Sorry Jim, meant kerio!

Thanks a million Gandalf, I have gone straight there and am downloading it now. Kerio looks impressive, but I soon had a trojan - 1stbar after downloading and setting it. That could be a coincidence, but it f-r-e-a-k-e-d me out.

the new versions of Zone Alarm work with XP, as 3.1 didn't want to know and if Xp's firewall really is that bad I'd rather not rely on it.

Thanks all. If this one shouldn't work I'll save up my pennies for norton!
