Replacing Linex with Windows XP

I'm looking to upgrade my old 'Time' Base Unit (circa 2000)with a new one and I see, in the new PC Advisor, that 'Time' are offering a good specs. base unit with a Linspire Linux 5.0 Operating System. As I would be replacing my old unit, for which have Windows XP Home operating disc, how easy would it be to replace Linex with XP as I have no experience with Linex at all?.

You could of course have both.... not too hard to achieve.
