Replacement Laptop Screens

  season8 08:34 20 Dec 06

Anyone know of a company that can replace laptop screens? I have a Rock Laptop that has a broken screen, it's out of warranty but is still a reliable laptop.

Rock want loads of £££ for doing so!

Laptop parts are all model specific so you'll be very unlikely to get one without buying the laptop. Also, the screen is probably the most expensive single part of the laptop, so the price is hardly surprising. I would say that your only chance is if you can find someone with a ruined laptop but a working screen.

It depends on the Manufacturer of the Laptop, which is not Rock. That's only a badge. I have a Medion made by MITAC
