I am trying to get the wireless network throughout the building. It is a pretty old building with thick walls and a few levels and therefore want to do it wirelesly. I have just bought a Netgear Rangemax Wireless Router which I thought might work but it is still not getting to all areas of the building. So now I am not sure what to do as I am confused with all the jargon. With the building being a funny shape I think that I need to have various of whatever but do not have any idea how to go about this and what would be best to use and if I have a few do they need to be bridged? Can anyone suggest any ideas or have a better knowledge than myself.

Look at these options

If your router antenna can be removed look at replacing with a hi gain antenna plus a Hi-Gain™

Wireless-G Range Extender in areas with a low wireless signal

Hi-Gain™ 7dBi Omni-Directional Antenna

Hawking HWUR54G Hi-Gain Wireless-G Range Extender

You have to upgrade the firmware in the Hi-Gain™ Wireless-G Range Extender to get the max range

Download the Users Manual and the Quick Installation Guide and take a read
