Hi Guys, just been asked to repair daughter-in-laws old pc, mobo has given up the ghost and she only wants to spend £100.
found this :asrockk8n6f-usta skt754 matx mb
amd sempron 3000+ 754 1.8ghz cpu
crucial 1gb ddr2-sdram
lg dvd-rw
cpu cooler.
come to about 90 notes with postage, her old pc had a fairly new 80gb hdd, she only uses it for ms office, emails, and light surfing. Should do the job I think, any ideas

Looks ok to me - you could still use her old (newish) hard drive.

If the computer as only got a Restore disc, it most likely will be tied to the motherboard for the Operating System. And may not start with the new motherboard
