Hi Folks
I want to reamne lots of photos in different directories.
At the moment they are all numbered to the camera numberts e.g. DSCF0310
If e.g. I use the Windows F2 rename and use "help" as at new file name then I get "help (1)", where all the file have the number in brackets and I have to take all the brackets off.
Any suggestions?

I dont think you can take all the brackets off as the images will all have the same name?
I rename my images with say 'Garden 2009.09.27' then if I have a folder with pictures taken during 2009, they wil appear in order of date. ie 1st Jan onwards, and if theres 12 pictures taken today, they will appear in the order they were taken. But I select all images, then right click and use rename on the first image, then the brackets will show the order of pictures taken today. I assume that brackets cannot be used when every picture has a different name?
