rename sys folder

just bought a second hand desktop to do all my stuff when my daughter has kidnapped my laptop. some system folders such as documents and settings are named by the previous owner .checked in windows xp pro help and it says it cant be changed.anyone know if it is indeed possible to put my own tag to sys folders.. cheers

You right click the name beneath the folder.
In the drop down menu select 'Rename'
The name beneath the folder will be highlighted.
Right click it and in the next drop down menu select 'Delete'
Type in what you want. Then click anywhere else (not on that folder, on the background) and it's done

Boot to safe mode and log in as administrator.
Delete the old profile (user) and create a new one in your name.

i tried the right click and rename but it wont allow it as it is a system folder and cant be changed as windows neeeds it..im going to try the safe mode way now and see how i go..its not crucial but just my sense of tidiness is being infringed is all
