removing quicktime

I recently removed quicktime but traces of it still exist - including an annoying popup when AOL starts. Is it safe to run regedit-" find quicktime and qttask " and delete all keys that show ?

Worth trying a Windows search entering under 'all files and folders' the following - Quick* and then search. Carefully delete all Quicktime entries that you are sure of.

Otherwise download Ashampoo Win Optimiser and run which you will find by entering it in your browser.
