hi guys
i want to remove any password (for things like online banking etc) that may be stored on my father-in-law's computer before he sells it; unfortunately i don't know how! i presume all these type of password will be stored in the registry - but where to find them is the problem (doesn't appear to be anything that looks like a password in the protected storage system provider, but is this where they would be kept?). the computer is running windows 98, has a 7GB hard drive and 256MB RAM. i don't particularly want to wipe the drive using something like Darik's Boot And Nuke (or do a normal reformat either) as this starts to take time i really don't want to spend on it. any help on which bits of the registry need altering will be gratefully received
