removing list of installed email apps

Hi, you know you can choose which email program you have as default? and if you right-click "start" then click properties, then click customize, then it says "show on start menu:" Interent, and a list of all the installed internet browsers, and email, and a list of all the installed email programs. Well, I installed Pegasus, found out it doesn't work with Hotmail, so unistalled it, and went back to OE. But Pegasus is still in the list. So how do u remove it, i tried registry cleaners, but it's still there.
