removing linux boot loader

System. Fujitsu Siemens euro Pentium111 1GHz
C=40gb Windows Xp professional d=20gb
I loaded Linux Mandrake 8.2 onto disc D with boot magic. No problems until I got fed up with trying to adapt to linux and formatted the disk and disabled boot magic. Now on startup I get a Linux boot loader (don't know which one)and can't find it on the drives to remove it. Any ideas?
P.S. I can boot from this boot loader into windows, it is just a nuisance.
