Removing gaps when burning from mp3 to CD

There's nothing more infuriating than the small gaps I get between tracks when burning a live album from mp3 to CD. What's the best program for removing these gaps? I use either Roxio CD and DVD creator or Nero 7 to burn CD's, but the only way I can remove them is manually in the audio editor on Roxio! Is there any software that would do it? (or even some freeby software?)

Look under CDDA options (if memory serves me well)and tick "remove silence at end of tracks"

Select all tracks, select Properties, reduce Pause to 0 seconds or frames.
