remove program from context menu

Having uninstalled a program (using Revo uninstaller and clearing remainders) I find that it still appears in the context menu options, (inactive of course).
Is there a simple way to remove its reference from the context menu? My searches have only produced methods that require registry amendments and I do not wish to go there!

Try this free program, I have had some successes and some failures, but no harm done on the failures

Thanks Sea Urchin --that worked perfectly.
Thanks also RawPrawn but as it's gone I can't try yours as well!
