Remove Norton NAV 5.0 w/o Password

  Artek 18:09 20 Aug 05

I recently purchased a laptop which (I think) was owned by a corporation and part of a network. There is a version of Norton Antivirus ver. 5.0 installed on it and I cannot do anything with it...
I would like to uninstall it and install a new version but it keeps asking me for a password (obviously not available...)
The OS is Win 98SE and everything is running well. What do I do?

Best Regards, Art

Do you have the win98 CD? If so, you can format and reinstall Windows - that way you will have a clean version.

Get click here
Everest to ID the mobo and components and get the drivers from the net first.

Not sure about removing NAV without a password... not heard of that before.
