remove images from C: Drive folder

Hello All..I posted a thread sometime ago regarding the presence of thousands of various images from web pages and other pics/icons which are visable when you open the C: Drive(right click local disc C:).You have the usual programs files as well.

I have just spent the last hour dragging the images to an empty folder.So far there is over 100mb of these images.Still leaves thousands more.

The folder with the images is not my temp internet folder.Can any offer any more advice on how to remove the images quickly and safely.

Have you tried using shift and the keyboard cursor to highlight and delete them all in one go.

Just make sure you select the correct files.

Creating a system restore point first may be a good idea.
