I am nearly always getting the active desktop recovery message come up on my xp netbook everytime i log into my user account.
I do not have a webpage or anything on my desktop.
I would like to know if there is anyway of disabling it?

this the developers homepage?
as i prefre to download something from the developers website.
I know that cnet is good but it's safer downloading something from the developers website, who of which made the software.

Good to be cautious but Cnet is OK. Start being too paranoid and you'll tie yourself in knots continually looking for 'safer' ways on the 'net.
Still, I have to ask, did it work?
